Statement of Intent IT-WHS-Contract2014-15.pdf

To help mitigate the spread of Coronavirus, Whitley House Surgery has temporarily suspended online booking of all appointments. Please call reception if an appointment is required. We will be asking all patients if they have travelled, have a high temperature, a cough or shortness of breath when they call.

If you have recently returned from abroad or had contact with a person with confirmed coronavirus, please go to https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19 or call NHS 111 direct and follow their advice.

Please do not attend the surgery if you have any concerns.

The majority of our Doctor's appointments are pre-bookable and become available from 07.50 Monday to Friday.Patients are able to book appointments online for varying times in the future e.g. 1 day ahead, 2 days ahead and up to 4 weeks ahead.

Some Nurse appointments are now bookable on line. Patients can currently book appointments with a Nurse for a smear and for a contraceptive pill check. Diabetic reviews are also bookable with a Health Care Assistant for those patients that have received a letter in respect of their condition review.

We have a Clinical Pharmacist who undertakes Medication reviews which are also bookable online.

If there are no online appointments available and you feel that a condition requires immediate attention please call the surgery for advice.

Patients with access to their Online Detailed Coded Record are able to view their test results via the Surgery Online service. Please contact Reception if you require further information about this service.
